About Me

Having worked in large national law firms for more than 25 years as a specialist employment solicitor, I now practise independently.  Based in north west England, I offer clear, concise, commercial advice across a range of services.

With minimal overheads and an entirely personal service, I offer exceptional value to clients.

 After training at Weightmans in Liverpool, my career took me to Eversheds Sutherland in Manchester, before partnership at Halliwells in 2007 and then listed law firm Gateley Legal, where I was the National Head of Employment for 5 years managing a team of more than 40 people.  I also sat on Gateley's Operations Board for two years, which ran the day to day business.

Away from employment law, my passion is golf and I am fortunate to be a member of Royal Birkdale Golf Club, where I have been an elected member of the Club's governing Council, Chair of its Business and Strategy Committee, and most recently a member of the Club's Championship Committee for the 154th Open.
